Amant is an artistic and research platform based in Brooklyn. The campus is comprised of four buildings spread across two blocks. Embedded within the subtle utility of its materials, the architecture embodies the ethos of Amant: providing space for showing, broadcasting, and making art public, while offering another place for reflecting, meeting, and creating community.

315 Maujer is the location of Amant’s main public entrance, welcome desk and exhibition spaces, as well as the private offices for Amant staff.
It is open to the public from Thursday to Sunday.
Géza, located at 306 Maujer, is Amant’s lab oriented to art-making and collective discussion. Géza is dedicated to performance, sound, spoken word, and expanded approaches to the moving image. 306 Maujer also hosts an independent residency program with a library and artist studios.
Géza is open to the public every weekend for film screenings, and separately for live events and performances on specific dates.
Amant’s Café and Bookstore offers two modes of cultural consumption: a cozy lounge in which to relax over a book and a coffee, and an active space for live readings, workshops, and presentations.
The bookstore is open during regular hours; the Café will open to the public this Fall.
Closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
All programs are free and open to the public

From September 2nd, Amant will require all visitors (12+) to show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use by the FDA or WHO. For more information regarding this requirement, visit Key to NYC.
We recommend that all visitors (age 2+) wear face coverings while inside of Amant and maintain the 6-ft social distancing rule when interacting with any of our staff and other visitors. Additional masks are available at our reception desk.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the buildings and visitors are encouraged to use it upon entry.
Food or drink is only for outdoor areas.
Restrooms remain open to Amant visitors.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit, and all those entering Amant do so at their own risk.
Free docent-led tours of our current exhibitions are available every last Saturday of the month. Tours conducted in English will begin at 2pm, followed by Spanish at 3pm. Each tour is limited to 15 guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups of 8 or more wishing to join either tour must make a reservation in advance of their visit. Tours begin outside of the 315 Maujer entrance.
For a small fee, we are also able to organize pre-arranged group tours at an alternative time during our opening hours.
Please contact email@example.com to make a reservation.
Amant offers facilitated visits for groups of young people, such as school groups and after-school clubs, on Thursdays and Fridays during our opening hours. During these visits, Amant provides a dedicated break-out space, materials and Learning Resources containing activities that help to frame our exhibitions for younger audiences. These Learning Resources are available in English and in Spanish and can be self-led by a group facilitator or co-led with a member of Amant’s Visitor Experience team. These facilitated group visits are free and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
To book your visit and for more information about our Learning Resources, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are committed to making Amant as welcoming as possible for all visitors. Entry at 315 Maujer St. is step-free and suitable for wheelchair users, as well as the galleries, the bookstore, and the restroom facilities.
All the on-site visitor and exhibition related materials are available in English and Spanish. Printed and digital copies can be found at the reception desk.
We offer descriptive audio guides, as well as large print materials, for all the exhibitions.
ASL interpretation for events at Amant is available on request. We require two weeks’ notice to confirm an interpreter.
