April 29, 2026, 7–9 pm
Géza, 306 Maujer
AV Closet, Amant, 315 Maujer St. Brooklyn, NY 11206

In 45 minutes, Iris Touliatou examines the event as medium and is joined by a moderator to discuss presentations and performances, their conditions, structures and constraints.

This program is part of the For Your Reference series, where our artists in residence share and discuss key references informing their ongoing research at Amant. Amant programs are always free.

Doors for 45 minutes will open at 6:45 pm on Wednesday, April 29 in Géza, located at 306 Maujer Street. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Entry is first come, first served. To ensure an uninterrupted program, doors will close 20 minutes after the start time.

Iris Touliatou works across various disciplines which are necessary for each intervention. Examining infrastructures and function, attachment and desires, the public and private, Touliatou explores the relationships between social structures and people’s practices and raises questions on the conditions of artistic production and the institutional frames within which it exists. She lives and works in Athens, Greece.
